After many years of Innkeeping, the von der Luhes moved to Germany to be closer to family but in 2005 they relocated to Hong Kong due to Nik’s career.

Fred and Laura Keener took over management of Cedar House in July 2005. With over 25 years experience in Hawaii travel and tourism they truly understand the Aloha Spirit.

After living in Southern California most of their lives they had the opportunity to move to Oahu, Hawaii. A few years later they returned to the mainland, on to Texas for three years, and then to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico but Hawaii was always near to their heart.

The Keeners management, travel background and hosting qualities are a perfect fit for Cedar House.
